Andreia's Krishnas

A 75X30 cm sketch for my friend's from Portugal, a series called Krishna, this one is called Andreia's krishna.
It has various moods of krishna interpreted in my imaginary world.
Somewhere i feel i started connecting shiva and krishna while sketching and hence the multiple eyes.

Ruhlar hani : exhibition spirit

Preparing sketchbooks for aspiring social artists

Exhibits :)
Sketches from Brazil India and Turkey. The highlight was sketches made in turkey on occasions like raki ceremony, workshop on gezi activities, natural building workshop, office of immigration police, two close friends having traditional turkish breakfast, while a friend reads my turkish coffee fortune and other special occasions.

Opening night: Talk and activity
Talk was focused on feeling the energy around us in people in the space in the nature  and how we all have an artist inside us. All we need to do is try to express.

GIFT ECONOMY

We are inviting you to experience gift economy, to allow people to be there for each other and to create a sense of community. And to build the gift economy.
A gift economy as we define  is where people give something without the expectation of anything in return. People share their services and help as a gift.

The sketches which are not framed and hung on the wall and the sketchbook both are open for gift economy. These sketches were made in India and Brazil. You can choose the one, which inspires you and, you can leave your support how much ever you feel in “sukran kutusu” (thanksgiving box).

Wish you full of gifts
Thank you

Solo exhibiton : Halka Art gallery Istanbul

Solo art exhibition

Halka art project is hosting Indian artist mukundoom this September in halka art project gallery space. The exhibition is entitled "Ruhlar-Hanı" and will be taking place between
13-29 September. The gallery space is open everyday except Sundays between 12.00 - 19:00.

mukundoom who calls himself as a social artist explains the exhibiton concept as follows:

“Han" is a shelter for travelers to socialize, a crossroad for "ruhlar" or spirits.

I am a translator, my passion is to sense energies from these surroundings and translate them through a medium like ink, this is my dexterity.

I am a traveler, I love traveling to these "Han's" , meet different people and sketch in their presence.

This is a stage of life where my awareness is taking me on a spiritual path and the connection between this spiritual and the the real world are my sketches.

Expression is all about freedom, i want to achieve inner peace through sketching and my sub conscious mind is my tool.

Creating lines which question the society, sometimes asking questions about existence and life, but mostly expressing the freedom and love that my inner child wants to receive and give back to this universe.

Currently it helps to make people spiritually aware and to rekindle their social life.
